How it's done ... before the show
about the artist Ronnie Jaggers
The joy of creating is like breath, it is my God given gift and I must do it. I cannot imagine life without creating art. Circumstances did not allow me to go to college for my art and I have had few personal instructional classes through out my years, but have managed to call art my career since my teen age years. •I pride myself for giving back to our art community by my volunteer work with the BG International Festival and the Amplifier Art and Entertainment newspaper. •Through writing the arts column for the last eighteen years, I have been intrigued with the multitude of varied and creative artist I have covered. More often than not, I have been inspired by my personal contact with these fellow artists seducing me to try their form of art myself. So I create jewelry, figurines, paintings, piñatas, miniature game pieces, models, graphic arts, screen printing, originals for concrete statues, fountains, stained glass and more. •I cannot say which form of art I like the best for I truly love them all. I see the sculpture in almost everything I do and find it the form of art that comes most naturally to me. •God has created a wondrous planet and it is my inner objective that I give back to the world with this gift he has given me, enabling me to have a career where I can hardly wait to get to it each day.
